Baby Corn Gravy

 Baby Corn Gravy

Ingredients


Baby corn – 6
Onion – 2
Tomato – 2
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala powder – 2 tsp
Salt – As required
Coriander leaves for garnishing.

Procedure

  1. Pressure cook the baby corns with little salt till they become soft.
  2. Cut them into small pieces and keep aside.
  3. Chop the onions and tomato separately.
  4. Heat oil in a pan.
  5. Add the mustard and fennel seeds.
  6. When they start to splutter , add the chopped onions to it.
  7. Fry, till they turn golden brown in color.
  8. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry.
  9. Add the chopped tomatoes and fry thoroughly.
  10. Add all the masalas and little water.
  11. Bring it to boil. Then add the cooked baby corns.
  12. Cover and cook for another 2 minutes.
  13. Garnish with coriander leaves. (serve hot with naan, chapaties or rotis.)
